Best make-up for acne

It is difficult to apply make-up on an acne prone skin, because this type of skin is often very sensitive to cosmetics. But they are cosmetics out there that can help you look good, despite your skin problems, concealing your pimples and actually helping you to prevent new pimples from forming, such as medicated make-up products.
Before applying any type of make-up, always wash your face with water preferably at room  temperature, not too  warm, not too cold ( is known that hot water can produce broken capillaries ). You can also choose to clean your skin with a gentle cleanser, that will keep the skin's natural moisture. The skin needs her natural oil. A dry skin will only make the glands to produce more oil, in order to keep the skin hydrated, so be careful to over-dryness, that can cause only more irritation.
Always read the labels carefully to avoid products that can aggravate your acne. Look for "oil-free" and "non-comedogenic" products, that are less likely to clogg your pores. Oily products, such as facial creams with a high moisturising factor, are a common acne trigger. For example, the cream for the skin around the eyes is usually greasier than regular facial cream, so try to use it only on this area. This type of cream sometimes can cause militia, tiny white cysts under the eyes. If that happens, then discontinue usage and search for something more appropriate for you. You may have to try all sort of products, before finding the ones that suits you.
Also try to use products with as much natural ingredients as possible, like a mineral make-up, meaning you should stay away from products that use many synthetics fragrances, colors or preservatives, that can cause problems to the sensitive skin.
Concelears with a green base do a great job in neutralizing redness, but if you have dry blemishes, that are more brown than red, then you should use a traditional concelear, that is just a little bit darker than your usual skin tone. If you must choose between a liquid concelear and a solid one, choose the last one. A liquid concelear helps to camouflage the redness and hide the blemishes, but il also penetrate and clogg your pores. On the other hand, a solid concelear, such as powder, has the benefit of not only giving good coverage, but also absorbing excess oil. Anyway, the best make-up for acne prone skin remains the airbrushing formula. It is the lightest, least clogging and more hygienic than any other formula.
Another very important thing  is that you should never sleep in your       make-up. Every night, before heading to bed, remove all traces of make-up and dirt from your face and remoisturize. Never go to bed without doing this. Last, but not least, leave your face make-up free at least once or twice a week. Your skin needs to breathe too.
